🎡 Keys, Codes & Modes Rhythm Clock

See and Hear How Rhythm Patterns Create Melodies

How it works: Click β–Ά Play and watch the colored sweep arm rotate around the clock. Every time it touches a yellow dot, it plays that note on the chromatic circle. Same pattern, different circles = Rhythm becomes Melody!

πŸ’‘ What You're Seeing (and Hearing!)

The Rhythm Circle (left): This is like a clock. The red hand sweeps around. When it hits a yellow dot, that's a BEAT. You can click the dots or numbers below to add/remove beats.

The Chromatic Circle (right): This shows all 12 musical notes, starting with C at the top (12 o'clock). When a beat triggers, the matching note lights up AND PLAYS.

The Magic: The rhythm pattern (when the beats happen in TIME) determines which notes play (the MELODY in PITCH). Same pattern, different dimensions! If you have 3 beats evenly spaced in 12 steps, you get a nice triad chord!

Try this: Load "Major Scale: 7 notes" and press Play. Notice how the 7 beats are evenly distributed around the clock, and they play the 7 notes of the C major scale (C-D-E-F-G-A-B). Same mathematical pattern creates both the rhythm AND the scale!
